Marvel 2-in-1 Projector and night light #Giveaway

Children – they will use any old excuse not to go to sleep at night won’t they? I know I used to do it! This time of year with all the talk of monsters and ghosts is the perfect reason for them to complain that they are scared. They could not possibly go to sleep on their own, in their own beds/rooms. A solution to this problem is obviously light. It helps to scare away those ghosts and ghouls whilst allowing the child to be able to see well.

New research from Philips (the global leader in lighting) of 6,000 mums and dads across six European countries shows that parents recognize the importance of giving children a space of their own. More than 1 in 5 (21%) parents say their kids want their own room more than anything else – the same as those who crave the latest game or gadget (20%). Giving children space is so important that most parents redecorate their child’s room more than any other room in the home (58%). Interestingly, one fifth (20%) of parents believe that lighting can have a positive impact on the quality of a child’s room. Chireal Shallow, child psychologist and sleep expert, says: “A physical space that children can call their own gives them the mind space that they need to develop, and the freedom to stretch their imagination through play. Children get more from creating their own personal worlds than being restricted to something constructed by a digital game and parents who provide a stimulating environment in their child’s bedroom can be confident that they are encouraging this.”

Marvel 2-in-1 Projector and night light Giveaway

One lucky reader of Pinkoddy’s Blog will be in with the chance of receiving a Marvel 2-in-1 Projector and night light. Now your child does not need to fear the dark as Spiderman can watch over and protect them. It is easy for even a child to use with a simple two way switch system. Turn it one way to use as a portable night light, or flick it over to use as a projector. Children can illuminate walls and objects up with Spiderman close up, or make him climb on the ceiling.

There are 3 different disks, each with 8 different images. This allows the children room for their own individuality, but also to develop their creativity by allowing them to be imaginative, maybe create a story.  It requires 3xAA batteries (which are not included).

I’m one of them stats that says a child’s bedroom gets decorated more times than any other within the house.
I’ve just sold my previous house – the house I took my newborn son home to and only yesterday I sat on the top stair for the very last time and looked around reminising – I counted how many times each room had been decorated in the 10 years I had lived there – each room had been decorated around 3 times whereas my son’s room has been decorated 4 times!
