SavetheChildren #XmasJumperDay

Friday 13th December 2013 Christmas Jumper Day

Did you know that you can make a real difference by just wearing a festive jumper and donating just one pound? As Save the Children is asking people to make the World better with a sweater. This is to help raise money for their life-saving work, which helps the most vulnerable children, in the poorest countries, with things such as vaccines and mosquito nets. Save the Children work in more than 120 countries. They save children’s lives. They fight for their rights. They help them fulfil their potential. www.savethechildren.org.uk

Don’t worry if you haven’t got a jumper – just add some tinsel, clip on a toy. It’s about raising the money – how about festive colours?

If you are a blogger then if you post about the campaign, along with a festive shot of you in your Christmas jumper, then Westfield will donate £10 to Save the Children – just tweet the link to @westfieldlondon.

They have a Woolly Wonderland at Westfield Stratford City E20 a pop-up featuring customisation stations, knitting workshops, storytelling, fun activities for the whole family and even a photo booth.
