A Hotter Giveaway!

Things just got Hotter in the Pinkoddy Household. Yes indeed I just lost my virginity and boy was it amazing! If you’ve come here looking for photos of my naked flesh then I am afraid all you are getting is my stretch marks (see post on why I’d rather show off my boobs than my belly). No what I am talking about is my first time with Hotter shoes, and I really want everyone to know about it. Now you see first and foremost I am a mother. To four boys as it goes. And they are who come first. I remember the days of wearing designer clothes and buying expensive shoes and boots – but they got swapped for, well comfort. Do not get me wrong I do still have shoes (I love shoes) but they are for special occasions and not every day wear. By the end of the night my feet tend to be in agony, I have walked bare foot and got blisters. So I was really interested to hear about Hotter’s Comfort Concept.

About Hotter Shoes

Hotter is a UK based company in Lancashire, who have been manufacturing footwear for over half a centur. They started off with slippers, then moved onto shoes as comfortable as slippers! The real beauty of the Comfort Concept is that it is hidden. The shoes appearances are fashionable and stylish. Style Ambassador Alex Longmore works with celebrities like Jerry Hall, Jodie Kidd, and Julie Walters so knows a thing or two about shoes – and she thinks that Hotter has really nailed it with the style and comfort combination. Hotter’s new Autumn collection covers the latest trends of 1960s, inspiration from the Catwalk, Folk and Fur, Masculine Fashion, Wedges and (the important one for me with Christmas coming up) Party shoes! They have seasonal trends, beautiful details and contemporary colours. Each shoe is designed with attention to detail and an eye for colour and design.

Hotter – My First Time

So I went off and instantly fell in love with the Donna and the Danielle. Unsure whether to go for Grape or Burgundy I tried on one of each. The staff were fantastic, and I even went down half a shoe size after advice that the shoe really needed to hold me. They even had pop-socks for me to try on the shoes! Each shoe has pillows of discreet padding air bubble filled soles, underfoot cushioning, flexibility/wriggle room for toes and unbelievably light. The Donna has an open bit which I was sure would rub – but they didn’t – they felt REALLY comfortable. When I put the Danielle on, though, what can only be described as a Hotter moment occurred.

They felt and looked so AMAZING it just made me want to dance. You’d never had guessed that they had a heel. The more practical Burgundy went out the window and the calling of the Grape won. I love a bit of colour in my wardrobe – and it’s subtle. I can (and am) wearing them every day with my jeans – but could wear them on a night out with a dress. Handy for when I nip off to London as it means I only need to take one pair of shoes to switch between smart and casual. Yes they are THAT comfortable. I have been wearing them on the school run, and even driven in them (another first I had never risked driving in heels before, but didn’t want to take them off). I can actually walk really quickly in them too.

Hotter Shoe Care Products

I was talked through the Hotter shoe care products, which have been designed to maintain, enhance and enrich. It is really important to take care of the shoes – I was given a can of Footwear Protector which is a water and stain repellent (especially important in this cold wet months). Hotter also sell renovating cream (in 15 colours), footwear cleaner, suede and nubuck brush (which is double sided), metallic gel, wax oil and patent care & clean). Shoes can be returned up to 90 days (as long as they haven’t been worn outside), so you have plenty of time to check their absolute comfortness and suitability.

They also make shoes for men and I was really impressed with the range of shoes they have available in a size 12. My oldest son has been a 12 for a while now and it is really difficult to even get him shoes for school! Personally I do not think the shoes are very expensive, especially considering that my last pair were £85 and I have worn them once. I can see that they are of good quality and long lasting, and can be worn for every day use, so well worth the money.

*Edited to say I wore them all day around London with the kids. I caught the 7am train and was back at 11:45pm. We did  A LOT of walking – and my feet were fine.

I attended an event with Hotter shoes and received a free pair of Danielle Hotter shoes and a can of footwear protector. I think the shoes are amazing, honestly and think every home should own a pair of Hotter shoes. I have not been paid to say this. All words and opinions are my own – but shared by many.

  1. I’d take the voucher and put it towards a pair of Shake shoes in Navy (or maybe tan). I have the black ones and get that ‘Hotter Moment’ everytime I wear them!

  2. The voucher for me – like you I’m tempted by the Donna, and this would give me a reason to buy them, though I’d go for the dark green

  3. I would take the bag. I tend to use one bag for everything until it falls apart. I need another one so I can stop doing that!
