The Stegosaurus, with its distinctive row of kite-shaped plates rising vertically along its back, is one of the most easily identifiable of the dinosaurs. Pronounced <strong>STEG-oh-sore-us<\/strong> this plant eater lived about 150 million years ago in the Jurassic Period. Its name means roof lizard and it was 9 metres long (about the size of a bus!). I was really thrilled to hear that my son\u2019s school were learning about dinosaurs all this term, because I am personally a bit of a fan. In fact I even had a <a href=\"https:\/\/pinkoddy.co.uk\/2013\/08\/12\/dinosaur-birthday-party-motivational-monday\/\">dinosaur birthday party<\/a>! THE GREEN BOARD Co do a lovely range of <a href=\"https:\/\/pinkoddy.co.uk\/2014\/03\/11\/dinosaur_education_learning_games\/\">dinosaur products<\/a> and we were very excited to be able to review the <a href=\"http:\/\/www.brainbox.co.uk\/game\/6773\">Robotic Stegosaurus<\/a>.<\/p>\n<p style=\"text-align: center;\"><a href=\"https:\/\/i0.wp.com\/pinkoddy.co.uk\/wp-content\/uploads\/2014\/04\/robotic_steg.jpg\"><img loading=\"lazy\" decoding=\"async\" src=\"https:\/\/i0.wp.com\/pinkoddy.co.uk\/wp-content\/uploads\/2014\/04\/robotic_steg.jpg?resize=300%2C207\" alt=\"robotic stegosaurus\" width=\"300\" height=\"207\"  data-recalc-dims=\"1\"><\/a><\/p>\n<p style=\"text-align: center;\"><span style=\"text-decoration: underline;\">About the Robotic Stegosaurus<\/span><\/p>\n<p style=\"text-align: center;\">Bring to life your own walking and roaring Stegosaurus, with just 77 pre-cut wooden pieces a sound controller and a motor.<\/p>\n<p style=\"text-align: center;\"><a href=\"https:\/\/i0.wp.com\/pinkoddy.co.uk\/wp-content\/uploads\/2014\/04\/stegosaurus.jpg\"><img loading=\"lazy\" decoding=\"async\" src=\"https:\/\/i0.wp.com\/pinkoddy.co.uk\/wp-content\/uploads\/2014\/04\/stegosaurus.jpg?resize=300%2C225\" alt=\"robotic stegosaurus\" width=\"300\" height=\"225\"  data-recalc-dims=\"1\"><\/a><\/p>\n<p style=\"text-align: center;\">No glue or tools are needed (apart from a screwdriver to insert the batteries). Recommended for ages 6 and over (however I do feel a 6 year old would struggle to do it alone).<\/p>\n<p style=\"text-align: center;\"><a href=\"https:\/\/i0.wp.com\/pinkoddy.co.uk\/wp-content\/uploads\/2014\/03\/father_and_son_engineering_bonding.jpg\"><img loading=\"lazy\" decoding=\"async\" src=\"https:\/\/i0.wp.com\/pinkoddy.co.uk\/wp-content\/uploads\/2014\/03\/father_and_son_engineering_bonding.jpg?resize=300%2C207\" alt=\"dinosaur education\" width=\"300\" height=\"207\"  data-recalc-dims=\"1\"><\/a><\/p>\n<p style=\"text-align: center;\">With step by step instructions it really is easy to assemble. Although the instructions and pieces of wood could be labelled in a more logical order.<span style=\"line-height: 1.5em;\">Not suitable for small children due to the small parts. The final product is sound activated \u2013 clap once to make it roar, move and bite; twice \u2013 roar, move quickly and bite, and three times roar walk and bite.&nbsp;<\/span>Roughly it took an hour to build.<\/p>\n<p style=\"text-align: center;\">You can then paint the product a colour of your choosing.
