The Fire Station Cheltenham reopened its doors last night 110 years after it was originally built. The old Edwardian Fire Station has been transformed into a premium bar and restaurant.

The Fire Station Cheltenham has had extensive restoration work and being renovated to blend in the old and the new. For example the fire station doors have kept their look to become windows. Plus the Restaurant\u2019s menu influenced by the Robatta grill, succulent meats cooked over English oak with an open flame fire grill.\"open<\/a><\/p>\n

The Fire Station Cheltenham is a first in the South West for City Fund Pub Company (who already have four sites in London and one in Birmingham) and whose seasonal menu take influences from Argentina to the Middle East, with a view to a unique offering in Cheltenham.\"The<\/a><\/p>\n

The Fire Station Cheltenham offers all day dining, complemented by locally roasted coffee, fresh smoothies and juices; Signature cocktails and a wine list complimentary to the indulgent dinner menu. Aiming to be very much the hub of the community offering a space for a variety of those who wish to use it (whether for food, drink, work or play). It will still operate very much as a gastro pub, with a choice of keg beers and real ales.\"Hummus<\/a><\/p>\n

I attended the launch party of The Fire Station Cheltenham last night and found that it has a nice mix of places to sit on big comfy orange seating and stools, or alternatively there are big areas to stand and chat. I loved the d\u00e9cor representing the fire; with the incorporation of orange, candles on the and the open grill – which was a great touch as you could see exactly how the food was prepared and the chefs were able to answer any questions. I really enjoyed myself and will definitely be returning back there. All the main dinner dishes are grilled over English charcoal and served with house salad & fries and I think for premium dinning (which tasted amazing!) very well priced. I think I could convince a few people to come and try the Bottomless Brunch which is two courses for \u00a330 or three for \u00a335 with unlimited Bellinis or Prosecco (on Saturdays between 11am-5pm for 2 hour time slots).<\/p>\n
