Quizzes are written by teachers and cover KS1, KS2, 11-Plus, KS3 and GCSE (each of which is clearly explained which ages and school years these apply to) and a bonus section of quizzes for Parents.\u00a0Subscription is monthly \u00a39.95<\/strong> and can be cancelled at any time with no minimum term: Plus every section has free trial quizzes. Also offering a FREE Parents Guide to education. Schools can also subscribe on behalf of students to help reduce the costs. Depending on the number of students at a school, it is possible for them to sign-up students for as little as \u00a32.00 per year.\u00a0 This would also enable more parental engagement with their children.\"Education<\/p>\n

Review of the Education Quizzes Site<\/u><\/h3>\n

I was interested to see how this site could be beneficial for all three of my youngest children ages 7, 9 and 13 (the youngest also having special needs). First of all I was impressed with the simple layout of the site – with a variety of clear options. There are sections for students, parents and teachers; by each stage of the curriculum; a search box looking for a particular quiz – as well as reviews, education maps, test papers, a daily nature blog<\/a>\u00a0and easy ways to contact. You can also see when the last time the quiz was attempted and what score was obtained. Each of the age appropriate sections are adapted for that age – for example KS1 has pictures with the spellings.

The 11+ Section of Education Quizzes<\/strong><\/h2>\n

I liked how the 11+ section<\/a> explained (and\/or linked to an explanation) about the 11+ – stressing that it should be fun and that it was harder than the KS2 material but that this should also be practised too. There is a comprehensive covering of 11+ subjects – English, Maths, Verbal Reasoning, Non-Verbal Reasoning, Times Tables, Illustrations Maths, Illustrations English, Illustrations NVR, Illustrations VR and Illustrations Reading Comprehension. Each one is then further broke down extensively – and rated for difficulty – giving a really clear indicator of which areas need further practise whilst also giving small steps to making things a bit more difficult for the student. \u00a0As each of the questions is answered the screen automatically moves down, saving time to get onto the next question – which is especially useful for timed quizzes. I think that \u00a39.95 a month is much cheaper than a tutor and it explains how to tackle the questions plus when to save time by just missing questions out.\"eleven<\/p>\n

My Verdict on the Education Quizzes Site<\/u><\/h3>\n

I think this is a great site and well worth the money. I really like how it is appropriate for all three of my youngest children, who are at very different levels. I believe it will make it easier to target which areas I need to help them develop, whilst building their confidence to see where their strengths lie. I am particularly interested in the 11+ section because my Year 4 is already pushing to answer questions in preparation and I think this is a fun way to do it. I like how it doesn’t just train him to pass a test but gives him the tools for learning that he will need in his lifetime. This site is simple for children to use and for adults to help them find their areas of strengths and weaknesses to build on. Again I think it is great value for money for such a great tool.<\/p>\n
