I love Christmas Activities – it’s something that brings my family together with their varying ages. You can’t go wrong with sweets either!<\/p>\n

\"sweets_in_bowls\"<\/a><\/p>\n

Sweet Snowmen<\/strong><\/p>\n

You will need:<\/p>\n

icing sugar<\/em><\/p>\n

marshmallows<\/em><\/p>\n

curlywurly pieces<\/em><\/p>\n

dolly mixtures<\/em><\/p>\n

strawberry laces<\/em><\/p>\n

or anything else sweet you fancy<\/p>\n

\"build_a_snowman\"<\/a><\/p>\n

First take a marshmallow and cover it in icing.<\/p>\n

\"icing_snowman\"<\/a><\/p>\n

Then place another marshmallow and top and cover the whole lot in icing.<\/p>\n

\"snowman_head\"<\/a><\/p>\n

Let the children enjoy sticking the other sweets to it to make a face, arms, scarf – hair or whatever they fancy!<\/p>\n

\"snowman_face_on_plate\"<\/a><\/p>\n

Even very young children can join in. This is a face made by my 2 year old all by himself.<\/p>\n

Even my nearly 15 year old joined in.<\/p>\n

They all enjoyed eating at the sweets as we built them too.<\/p>\n

Snowflakes<\/strong><\/p>\n

Another simple activity you just need paper and scissors<\/p>\n

Make a square with the paper<\/p>\n

\"fold_paper-snowflake\"<\/a><\/p>\n

Fold it diagonally to make a triangle.<\/p>\n

\"fold_paper\"<\/a><\/p>\n

Then fold it exactly the same again until you have folded it 4 times.<\/p>\n

\"cutting_paper\"<\/a><\/p>\n

Cut out some shapes and unfold.<\/p>\n

\"snowflake_paper\"<\/a><\/p>\n

Viola\"paper_snowflake\"<\/a><\/p>\n

Then you can thread something through it – wool, string, cotton – and hang it on the tree, or make bunting from it.<\/p>\n
