Once again we were invited to Standon Calling Festival<\/a>, where 17,000 people enjoyed a weekend of music, comedy, science, swimming and dogs! Headlined by The Human League, Years & Years, Self-Esteem, and Bloc Party – all in Strange Valley!<\/p>\n\n\n

Entertainment at Standon Calling 2023<\/h2>\n\n\n\n

As well as the Headline Acts there was an enormous array of musical talent including the likes of Rick Astley<\/strong>, Melanie C<\/strong>, Anastacia<\/strong>, Squid<\/strong>, Confidence Man<\/strong>, LF System<\/strong>, Bob Vylan<\/strong>, Sad Night Dynamite<\/strong>, Katy B<\/strong>, Faithless<\/strong> DJ set, Groove Armada<\/strong> DJ set, Shygirl<\/strong>, Scouting For Girls<\/strong>, Django Django<\/strong>, We Are Scientists<\/strong>, 49th & Main<\/strong>, Girls Don\u2019t Sync<\/strong> and Sprints<\/strong>.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

Whilst also a hugely successful new partnership with BBC Introducing<\/strong> also provided a platform for local artists from Bedfordshire, Hertfordshire & Buckinghamshire, Essex and London, including Wunderhorse<\/strong>, Finn Foxell<\/strong>, Connie Campsie<\/strong>, Arthur Hill<\/strong>, Tibasko<\/strong> and more.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

Plus all new FutureFlow hip-hop night in the Cowshed and shows from D Double E<\/strong>, Saint\u00e9<\/strong>, and P-Rallel<\/strong>; and so much hilarious Comedy<\/strong> from the likes of Mark Watson<\/strong>, Kiri Pritchard-Mclean<\/strong>, Rhys<\/strong> James<\/strong> and Reginald D. Hunter<\/strong> over on The Lawn.<\/p>\n\n\n\n
