As far as I can tell this is the most south west of all the Junior parkruns. Also there is plenty of road parking nearby. Accessible by bus\/train just a short walk from the station. Plus it\u2019s on Cycle Route 2 on the National Cycle Network (Clay Trails to Eden Project).<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n\n\n<div class=\"wp-block-image\">\n<figure class=\"aligncenter size-large\"><img loading=\"lazy\" decoding=\"async\" width=\"768\" height=\"1024\" src=\"https:\/\/i0.wp.com\/pinkoddy.co.uk\/wp-content\/uploads\/2026\/08\/Img_6015-768x1024.jpeg?resize=768%2C1024&#038;ssl=1\" alt=\"car park at Par Track Junior parkrun\" class=\"wp-image-36059\" srcset=\"https:\/\/i0.wp.com\/pinkoddy.co.uk\/wp-content\/uploads\/2026\/08\/Img_6015.jpeg?resize=768%2C1024&amp;ssl=1 768w, https:\/\/i0.wp.com\/pinkoddy.co.uk\/wp-content\/uploads\/2026\/08\/Img_6015.jpeg?resize=225%2C300&amp;ssl=1 225w, https:\/\/i0.wp.com\/pinkoddy.co.uk\/wp-content\/uploads\/2026\/08\/Img_6015.jpeg?w=800&amp;ssl=1 800w\" sizes=\"(max-width: 768px) 100vw, 768px\" data-recalc-dims=\"1\" \/><\/figure><\/div>\n\n\n<ul>\n<li>Toilets in the pavilion<\/li>\n\n\n\n<li>Small play-park<\/li>\n\n\n\n<li>Skate park<\/li>\n\n\n\n<li>Incredible caf\u00e9 &#8211; with library<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n\n\n\n<p>We stayed on a camp site nearby which made it a great base for both the <a href=\"https:\/\/pinkoddy.co.uk\/blog\/2026\/07\/29\/eden-project-parkrun-with-free-entry-for-participants\/\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noopener\" title=\"\">Eden Project parkrun<\/a> and Par Track Junior parkrun.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<h2 class=\"wp-block-heading\">Par Track Junior parkrun Course<\/h2>\n\n\n\n<p>Offering a unique course, Par Track Junior parkrun is half on an athletics track and half on field. It was one of the reasons it began &#8211; an opportunity to give children not in clubs to run on a track. Starting on the far side of the track children run all the way around past the start. Next they carry on going until they reach metal building. Here they exit the track and go onto the pitch. Then running around the perimeter of the field twice. Once again returning onto the track. Finishing with just three quarters of the track. Carrying on in the same direction as they would as if they had never come off the track.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<h2 class=\"wp-block-heading\">Par Track Junior parkrun Results 26<sup>th<\/sup> July 2026<\/h2>\n\n\n\n<p>With the start of the school summer holidays I guess lots of people go away so there\u2019s changes in the results. Coming away from this one I said it was my favourite. Not surprising as it is similar to <a href=\"https:\/\/pinkoddy.co.uk\/blog\/2024\/02\/10\/dudley-parkrun-a-fun-friendly-and-interesting-course\/\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noopener\" title=\"\">Dudley parkrun<\/a> as I have mentioned, and I just loved that one too. However, luckily, everything got sorted out &#8211; especially good as one young lady got a PB. It is so important for parents to remember that Junior parkrun is just for children even if they can run (jog, walk) alongside them.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p><em>We started our parkrun journey with Junior parkrun after reading about it on Sarah\u2019s blog (<a href=\"https:\/\/mumofthreeworld.com\/2015\/09\/junior-parkrun.html\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noreferrer noopener\">MumofThreeWorld<\/a>).
