#ADGifted I was delighted to receive a box full from the ZENB plant-based range!

ZENB comes from the word zenbu – the Japanese expression for whole. This is because they embrace as much of the whole plant as possible to provide an easier way to live a plant-fuelled balanced lifestyle.

Products

We were sent a special limited-edition box full of ZENB’s plant-based deliciousness to see what we thought. This included a range of ZENB Pasta, Sauces and Agile Bowls.

Pastas

The star of their glistening range of products is the Yellow Pea Pasta, UK’s first pasta to be completely made from this powerful legume. Yellow peas take less water and fertiliser to grow than durum wheat.

How we found ZENB Pasta

Honestly it was so easy to cook, no more effort than any other pasta. Our one son tried a bit without any sauce and wasn’t convinced. Personally I am not sure if that’s just because he knew. We didn’t tell our other son and he ate it fine! We thought it did taste slightly different but it was okay.

ZENB Gourmet Sauces

The ZENB Gourmet Sauces are a delicious vibrant blend of vegetables, herbs and seasonings. The perfect pairing for the ZENB Pasta, or a way to add culinary excitement. Each sauce is one of your 5 a day, with no added sugar; a good source of fibre and are gluten free.

They are in an easy store and transport packaging – great for Festival Camping Foods or DofE expeditions! Once opened they can be stored in the refrigerator for up to 3 days.

We also received the following Agile Bowls – again perfect for Festival Camping Foods and DofE; or just a quick lunch idea. Made with their 100% yellow pea pasta, paired with vegetables and seasonings. Quick and easy to prepare by just adding boiling water.
