Bottle of Sauce Dodo Kids Menu

Fans of Bottle of Sauce on Ambrose Street in Cheltenham will be pleased to hear that there’s now a new kids’ menu – we were invited along to find out more. Those not familiar with this great pub in the Dodo Chain can now experience it even with their families!

The Bottle of Sauce Kids’ Menu

The Bottle of Sauce Kids’ Menu is exclusively for children aged 12 and under; with choices split into Build your own Dodo burger or Build your own pizza. The Bottle of Sauce Kids Menu allows youngsters the chance to get creative either putting their perfect burger together themselves at the table, or designing their own pizza by mixing and matching toppings of their choice. The Dodo Burger consists of a beef patty, pickle, bun, tomato and fries. For those who are vegetarian, or just do not fancy a burger, then there’s the create your own pizza – it comes with tomato and mozzarella and then the can opt to add ham, mushroom and/or chorizo.

If, like mine, your children have large appetites then you can always add extra fries; with a choice of fries (with rosemary sea salt), sweet potato fries (smoky sea salt), Buffalo fries (buffalo sauce – blue cheese drizzle) or cheese n’ truffle fries (melted fontina – Cotswold Gold truffle oil).

The kids’ menus at The Bottle of Sauce are printed on a fantastic activity sheet that children can take away (with colouring pencil crayons provided) – they can colour in, find their way through the maze, count the vegetables and name the fruits. The Bottle of Sauce Kids Menu options are both £4. Also available are a range of drinks suitable for children, plus the table has condiments such as kids’ favourites ketchup and mayonnaise provided.

Our Experience of the Kids’ Menu at The Bottle of Sauce

We had a fantastic experience of the Kids’ Menu at The Bottle of Sauce – seated in a lovely, comfortable, booth of our choice, a lot of patience whilst the children ordered their food (asking lots of questions and generally being a bit difficult (I was so glad that the choices were made easier for them!); food arrived in good time, was hot and delicious.

Both our youngest two children opted for pizza with a shared fries between them and thoroughly enjoyed their food – eating it in no time, with no complaints. Meanwhile the rest of us got to enjoy amazing Dodo burgers (the Al Capone, Big `D’ and Mushroom Man) with fries (regular, sweet potatoe and cheese n’ truffle). The menu offers gluten free buns and vegetarian and vegan options.

We visited on a Friday evening (from 6:30pm) and found it to be a suitable family atmosphere, perfect for taking our boys after a very busy day, and in fact week to unwind. Seating is available both inside and out, including right in front of where you can see the food being prepared. Parking is available nearby both on-street and in carparks.
