Easy Clean Indoor Messy Play

I had an idea to make “Ghosts” with shaving foam and was delighted to discover it was only 27p a can!

But then I saw this fab idea at Mutiple Mummy which involved mixing in some food colouring – brilliant!

Then I saw this Rainy day Link up which had about a car wash – well I thought yes cars – what a great idea for rolling in the shaving cream and using as a drawing tool.

He started by trying to get the lids off. Then he shook them; I told him to put them up by his ear so he could hear the different sounds they made.

I showed him h ow it went “pop” when pulling the lid off the shaving foam and then put it back on for him to try.

Then I showed him how to squirt the cream into the old (washed up) mushroom container, and let him  have a go.

He straight away started playing with the lid in the foam.

I explained that really shaving foam was for your face – it took no encouragement before he was putting it all over his face!!!

Then we added the first colour.

He thought this was great and started to rub it all over his hands.

We added another colour and then introduced the car to the mess.

We then got out some paper and rolled the messy car all over it.

It was easily cleaned up with a bit of kitchen towel and water.
