Micro-Scooters for Schools

Micro-Scooters for Schools

At my youngest children’s school last week we had a Family Night and raffle where over £1,200 was raised. I would like to take this opportunity to say a big Thank you to Micro-Scooters UK for donating a Maxi Micro Scooter with T-Bar as a prize. A little boy who is turning 6 very soon and is VERY outdoorsy won it (well his Nan did), and I could not think of a better child to be receiving it.

For those children who were unfortunate enough not to win then if their parents buy a Micro-Scooter via the school then they can also help with the school’s fund raising.

How buying a Micro-Scooter can benefit your school

The school registers to take part in the scheme with their URN code. Within 48 hours they will receive an e-mail to confirm their submission. Every time a parent/grandparent/teacher visits the website www.micro-scooters.co.uk and makes a purchase with the school’s URN 10% will count towards money back or scooters for the school. Every quarter the school will be informed as to how much money is due back to them. Funds can be secured all year round and there is no limit on how much money back, or how many scooters the school can redeem.

There is also a Scoot Safe initiative which is a downloadable resource that gives teachers and parents all the material they need to teach children how to scoot safely. Or you can have a Scoot Safe instructor come into the school to teach the scheme.

Deciding which Micro-Scooter

Trouble is now you have to decide which scooter and accessories are the best for you! Take a look at our previous comparison of the Micro Black Scooter Vs the Micro MX Trixx Scooter.

Micro-Scooters UK donated a Maxi Micro Scooter with T-Bar as a prize to our school raffle. I wanted to help promote how schools can raise funds through this scheme. I have not been financially compensated for this post.
