I really do not know where the time goes – Half Term over before I even knew it. I have been so busy that I realise that I have let my boys play more computer games than is probably good for them. So I was really pleased to be asked to take a character from Skylanders SwapForce out and about over half term. We received Scorp – The King of Sting, who is one of the non-swappable characters.
As soon as Scorp arrived we took him to the park. If you follow me on Instagram you will know that I love thinking up crazy new ways of making it more exciting (such as letting the boys go in their pjs) and so this fitted into my zany ideas perfectly.
On the Friday when school finished for the week we set off to Devon, where we stayed at Devon Valley Holiday village. Being the Bank Holiday Weekend it was mayhem on the roads taking much longer than we anticipated. From this experience we have decided to take a sick bucket for the next holiday journey!
We tend to go self-catering on holiday as we just cannot afford not to. We decided to have soup and bread as everyone likes it – including our Skylanders SwapForce Scorp it turned out!
It was actually my birthday that weekend and so we went for a picnic on the beach. It did rain on and off all Bank Holiday weekend so we were glad to find a sunny spell to my birthday. I think the beach suits Scorp don’t you?
The rest of the Holiday we spent visiting Splashdown @ Quaywest, Playing with friends at the park, We visited The Roses Theatre to watch Hugless Douglas, we built Dens in the garden, trying to make the garden a nicer place to play, played with Lego LOTS!! There was some paper Minecraft built, I started the 30 day AB challenge
We watered some Grassheads
Finally we took our youngest to the park to help him practice riding his bike without stabilisers.
