Zebra Trail Bristol 2016
During the school Easter Holidays* hidden in Bristol Shopping Quarter are some pretty special zebras. The thing is about zebras is that their black and white stripes are unique from zebra to zebra. Therefore, this year children I schools all over Bristol and South Gloucestershire have shared a story called “You are Special” – which is about being uniquely made and valued. The children have designed each of the 38 hidden zebras based on an inspirational or amazing person.
Trail maps can be collected from John Wesley’s Chapel and Specsavers. The idea is to find each of the Zebras and their names – which should then be entered in the grid provided on the other side of the map. When the trail has been completed children can take all the zebra’s names to John Wesley’s Chapel where they can draw a picture for the “Wall of Awesomeness” that will be up in the courtyard to celebrate how each of us is unique.
I found that the map was really clear to follow and the Zebras were close in proximity to one another and easy to locate. I am useless at reading maps/directions and so if I can do it quickly, then anyone can! It was interesting to see who were considered inspiration or amazing people.
Also on Saturday 2nd April 2016 the Ark Project will be in Broadmead: https://www.facebook.com/TheArkBus/
