Bristol International Balloon Fiesta 2015

Bristol International Balloon Fiesta 2015

Yesterday we attended Bristol’s 37th International Balloon Fiesta held at Ashton Court. There were over 100 hundred hot air balloons and we were are very thankful to the Power Rangers for inviting us over for a Picnic lunch and opportunity to go off the ground in the new pink and red Power Rangers Balloons. Don’t forget there is a Power Rangers Bundle Giveaway currently running.

There were so many amazing balloons with all their different shapes and sizes. But I was particularly impressed by this guy flying without a basket!

Bristol International Balloon Fiesta 2015This is a great FREE (entry) family day out and there’s plenty to do. It is nice and clean with plenty of toilets, and places to purchase food and drink. The International Balloon Fiesta runs until Sunday 9th August 2015 20:30.

There is a charge for parking but you can walk into the event at no additional charge. Why not go and find Flora from the Shaun in the City Trail whilst you are at Ashton Court.

Which is your favourite Balloon? There were so many fantastic ones that I think it makes it very hard to decide. I think I like this one taken from Up.

Regular readers will know that I am scared of heights and have actual purchased a Hot Air Balloon Experience for myself and my husband – after rationalising our fears we still had not been on one. Fingers crossed that we get around to doing this before it runs out!
