Autism and ADHD
In 2024 I was diagnosed as being Autistic and having both types of ADHD. This was following a private diagnosis. Since having the combined type along with being autistic things just made so much sense.
Plus, there is also a secondary blog covering these topics in addition to this one. Some of the original posts are here too. This is quite old and isn’t updated much these days but has helpful information for things that I, or my family, have struggled with – and some solutions.
By no means am I an expert but I do like to try and help where I can so please do get in touch if you think I may be able to assist. Our oldest son has a diagnosis of Asperger’s syndrome and the youngest has an EHCP (which was originallly a statment that we applied for ourselves).

We try to do parkrun as much as we can. My current special interest.
Other than that I am a cold water swimmer; work in hospitality; I’m a volunteer; like simple cooking ideas and love LEGO. My family are really important to me.
