Thorpe Park Resort Fright Nights 2017 is going to be the biggest in history – bringing two new live action horrifying mazes based on the TV Series The Walking Dead. These will join returning mazes including: SAW Alive, Big Top and Platform 15. As well as riding attractions in the dark such as THE SWARM, SAW, and Stealth.
The Walking Dead: Living Nightmare is the world’s first live attraction featuring scenes from season 7. This indoor maze will see visitors experience terrifying iconic scenes of the global phenomenon; joining other survivors on the brink of death at the mercy of the notorious Negan. Scenarios will include experiences of the hospital from season one through to a double storey prison inspired by seasons three and four of the global television phenomenon seen in the UK on FOX.
The Walking Dead: Sanctum will give visitors a chance to walk in the footsteps of survivors. This live-action outdoor maze pays tribute to Terminus, the safe-haven with a twist. Visitors will begin their journeys following in the footsteps of survivors, experiencing first-hand how to stay alive in the face of several obstacles placed in their paths. The aim is to navigate past the roaming walkers or risk being captured.
Also on selected dates throughout Fright Nights will be a special Terminus burger inspired by the series, made from pork, turkey and complete with blood clot relish.
This all coincides with the launch of The Walking Dead season 8 on FOX this October, and the landmark 100th episode.
This year’s Fright Nights at THORPE PARK Resort will run for more days than ever before up until Tuesday 31 October 2017. Thorpe Park Resort will open between 10am-10pm with Fright Nights starting from 3pm on most days and half-term mazes will be open from 12 noon.
