The Little Penguin: Pororo’s Racing Adventure Plot
In Lionsgate’s The Little Penguin: Pororo’s Racing Adventure plucky little penguin Pororo’s dreams come true when he participates in the ultimate Super Sled race with his friends. Pororo dreams of becoming the Super Sled Champion but accidentally causes an aeroplane (piloted by turtle Toto and Mango) to make an emergency landing in Porong Village. This causes Pororo’s life to take an exciting new turn.
Pororo and his friends manage to hitch a plane ride to the ice metropolis of Northpia with hopes of racing in the Super Sled Championships. But to win, Pororo and his friends must compete against the current champions led by The White Tiger as well as the scheming brown bears led by Fufu and numerous other teams. Along the way, Pororo will not only inspire the cynical duck sportscasters, Chip and Walter, but all of the animals of Northpia!
The Little Penguin: Pororo’s Racing Adventure Thoughts
My boys loved this film and the message that kept coming up was about how important it is not to lie. Toto tells tehm he’s a champion and gives Pororo his medal – but really he just found it. This means that he is no good when they need him. But they are all a team and when the sledge they build goes wrong Fox fixes it. In the end it is Toto that gives them the lolly which super powers the sledge – which is why they win – so it is said that he is part of the team. Suitable for all – with cute characters and lots of colour. No material likely to offend. More likely to be attractive to a younger audience.
The film features an all-star cast including Rob Schneider, Drake Bell, Anthony Anderson, Jon Heder and Dallas Lovato. Available on DVD and Digital Download from 15th February 2016. Certificate U. Run time 75 minutes.
