Rise and Shine Sun Salutations – as we had previously learnt on day 2.
Beachside Vinyasa Flow: This time we worked on the legs.
Sweet Treat Making: Yoga isn’t just about what happens on the outside; It is important to look after your body and what you put in it. Therefore, we were offered healthier treats through the course and on day 5 we had the opportunity to learn how to make them.
These were then shared with the rest of the group later in the week. They were really simple to make, with little mess too.
This day was actually rearranged because of a birthday and so we finished early. In fact what with the heat and all the new stuff to take in I feel it was a good job as I was getting tired, sensitive and home sick. I went and did some more SUP boarding – this time managing to stay standing over some big waves, I am not sure if this was the reason for my legs hurting or the yoga earlier on in the day. In the evening a few of us went out for a meal down the road to celebrate. We then came back to the beach bar and enjoyed the 2 for 1 cocktails during happy hour.
