About Boxcitement
I was very excited to hear that local Cheltenham based company Boxcitement were looking for reviewers. The Gloucestershire brand wanted people to receive excitement in a surprise subscription box. Purchasers can decide whether the gift boxes are for themselves or as a gift (which you can leave a personal message for the recipient), and for how long they would like to receive them for.
Boxcitement like to experiment with modern and traditional techniques and materials. The monthly subscription box offers an exclusive collection of quality stationery items, crafting and wrapping accessories and a range of stylish gifts. Each box is based on a different theme and typically contain a quality greeting card (printed using specialist papers with contrasting envelopes), funky postcards, stylish stationery, crafting and wrapping essentials (so you can give things away as a gift if you wish), an everyday gift and a special gift.
My January Boxcitement Contents
It was clear as soon as I opened my box that the theme was the alphabet (which was explained on the inside of the lid). I most liked the personal touches – such as the enamel charm with my initial and the Scrabble inspired greeting card with From Joy written on the front (in wooden Scrabble letters). The other quality greeting card I received was “M is for Monsters” which was cute. I absolutely love magnets and use them all the time to stick reminds on my fridge – so love that I received a magnet that says, “Don’t forget” on it in the Boxcitement exclusive font. I received a nice Home Sweet Home art print with mount – the mount came off so it would be easy to insert a picture of my choice before framing if I wanted a change too. Who can resist stationery – so it was delight to receive a soft pencil-case and 2 different shades of pink (do you think they knew I like pink!) pencil crayons. Last, but by no means least, was so cute alphabet sweets – which reminded me of my childhood.
Verdict of my January Boxcitement Box
I really liked the contents of my Boxcitement Box; they did indeed spark excitement and joy. I was very pleased with the personal touches and thought that had gone in to it and would be thrilled to receive one as a gift. I thought it was all very well packaged and it fitted nicely through my letterbox – so no need to worry about someone being home for delivery.
