B for Bee
B is for Bees
First we started with the old toilet roll from an idea here
Whilst we had the paints out I thought why not have a “bee” picture – by painting yellow and black.
My son then thought why not paint himself as a Bee!!! He had great fun and it easily came off.
We then painted white paper in either yellow or black and once it had dried cut it into strips.
Again just out of white paper I made some “wings”
Then we glued the black strips onto our already painted toilet roll.
The eyes wouldn’t glue on very well so we used sellotape.
Then we taped on antennas and wings.
Another really good Bee idea I saw was this one here
As my lad is starting school this year I thought it was a good way to help him to start to learn his alphabet.
We simplified it by cutting out a letter B and some wings – letting him colour and glue them together.
