The Sun Holidays from £15 per person start again tomorrow (Saturday April 11th 2015) for Summer 2015. There are few cheaper options of getting a cheaper holiday in the UK and Europe – and there are 279 parks to choose from. Breaks include the May Half Term School Holidays week (which starts with the Bank Holiday Monday), June, July, August and September – so there really is no reason why you cannot get away when the kids are off school. I think the long weekends are particularly useful for those who have to work throughout the week too. New parks have been added in Europe (and one in Scotland) plus there’s deals on Ferry Deals if you are travelling to Europe (although conditions do apply).
How to book a Sun £15 Holiday:
All you need is the eight codes, 4 parks, and 4 dates. Then book online ukholidaysinthesun.co.uk with your priority reference number or here if you do not have a priority number from Friday 17th April 2015 (however, you may find it is open the evening before). If you do this online and have a priority code you can even keep amending these until you get the choice you want. Plus you can book as many holidays as you like! A £2.30 debit/credit card charge is added to the total of online bookings, or you can book via the post but will need to attach the tokens from the newspaper. Holidays are based on a minimum of 4 people sharing, smaller party sizes can enjoy the holidays but pay as if four people are going. Holidays in Europe can be extended to a 7 day stay. The lead must be over 21 years old.

Is it worth you booking a Sun Holidays £15 Per Person Break?
I think the thing you really need to consider with a Sun Holiday £15 pp break is that it IS a budget break. They do come with a ‘Best Price Guarantee’ – that is that the price of the Sun Holiday (with service charge & entertainment/clubroom passes added) will be the best price for exactly the same holiday (location/date/accommodation type), when a maximum of 4 people are sharing with no optional extras. If, in these circumstances you find a cheaper deal within 28 days of making the Sun Holidays booking they will refund the difference plus £10. I think that it is unfortunate that they are only are really offering this to families of 4, and the same applies with the Ferry, as the promotional codes that are sent do not match the requirements of our vehicle. You can further save money on your Sun Holiday by taking your own linen and taking off the optional Entertainment passes. These cover the pool, bars, restaurants etc, and it may depend on the time of year (could you use the sea for free as opposed to the pool) or the nearby attractions. We actually found it to be hot enough in October that the boys did not want to use the entertainment passes but stay in the sea. Our in-laws had opted out of having them and were offered them on arrival, and told they could purchase them at any point during their stay. Some parks have FREE entertainment passes or are otherwise between £2 and £15 per person per break (pppb). If you are on a budget you can look for holidays that have no extras whatsoever – just £15 pp with no service charge or entertainment pass extra costs, which are available on over 200 parks (on selected dates).
You need to consider on when and where you want to take your Sun Holiday to determine whether it would be cheaper to book directly with the parks. Personally, for our family of 6, even a trip away with our tent is more expensive (in the UK and abroad). We have always been happy with the price we have paid with The Sun Holidays, compared with how much we would have to pay if we tried any other way of having even a comparable holiday. Do take a look at how much it cost us (3 adults and 3 children) to go abroad in July, staying in a theme park). This is because we are happy to have a budget holiday with no frills (self-catering, budget accommodation etc) but if we had of wanted all-inclusive and a luxury caravan it may not be quite so cost-effective.
Sun Holidays £15 Per Person Locations
You need to think about where your Sun Holidays £15 Per Person ideal location is. Is it a particular park or is it a destination you want to go to? Are there alternative options, or are you happy to go anywhere (may be it is the date you want and you need to consider what the best Parks for the date is). If it is location then you may also need to factor in how you are getting there. This is particularly the case for Europe as Sun Holidays £15 Per Person breaks do not include flights. A long drive may cost more in fuel/ferry crossings than a flight included in a package deal but that may depend on how far into Europe you wish to go and how many people are in your party. European Holidays have a £15 equipment damage waiver added to all holidays, which can be removed and a £100 deposit paid on arrival which is fully refundable if no equipment is damaged. Personally I have always just paid the £15 to avoid the faff but not sure how many parks do enforce the deposit. Each of the parks tell you how much extra they charge, so you can work out how much each park would cost you depending on the size of your party. Look out for the Ferry deals too – again be aware that they may not be right for your vehicle (we have a people carrier with top box making it higher than normal) and the sun code did not apply.

What to Pack for a Sun Holiday
We’ve been on quite a few of these, and as my pack popped through the post this morning, I was debating whether to do another. They are good value, especially in the school holidays
We did 5 last year – they were great for Fri-Mon deals, going after work Fri and coming back Sunday and we even got a Butlins one for our anniversary weekend for no more than £15 pp.
I keep toying with these but have yet to try, you’ve given me some thinking to do. I’ll not be in time for the summer, but might think about them next time around maybe.
Hi will you be getting the code early tonight or do you know where I can find it please? Many thanks
Is there any chance of getting the last code word early??
Hi ladies – we have to wait for the site to go live before we can get the last code. Looks like they are making us wait until midnight. If it isn’t cracked first someone who works in the newspaper industry usually shares it on a night shift. People are quite nice online and when it is discovered it is shared all over. I do appreciate anyone coming here if they get the code before it is here please.
Thanks for your reply, I’m staying up and searching around I will certainly post if I come across it…good luck
I’m doing the same! We had a fantastic break on the isle of Wight last year, hope to get the same this time, fingers crossed!
