Spring Fields Fun Park is a traditional family fun park and pony centre just 5 miles from Newquay. The fun park is good fun come rain or shine and is under new ownership with big plans ahead.
Spring Fields Fun Park Indoor Play Barn
You enter through the 10,000 sq. ft. indoor play barn which has a drop slide, wavy Astra mat slides, a soft play area, area for under 2s, Little Tikes vehicles, giant games to play, houses and an indoor UV Enchanted Wood. Also inside the Play Barn is access to the toilets and the Ladybird Café, which has both hot and cold options available for both food and drinks. These you can eat inside or out. Picnics can be brought in but they are only allowed to be eaten outside. I thought the prices were a little bit high for my family for what was on offer and the boys just had drinks each (£1 a can). Spring Fields Fun Park also offers to bring the animals into the Play Barn if conditions are too wet. The indoor play barn was a lot of fun and I can see parents struggling to get their children to move on (unless they have been before).
Spring Fields Fun Park Play Outside
The 35 acre site offers plenty of space to safe explore outside. There is lots to do outside with a wooden pirate ship, places for climbing, slides, zip wire, trampolines, boating, pedal go-karting, train ride, sand diggers, wavy Astra mat slides and a woodland trail. There really was lots to do and kept the boys entertained for many hours (I am sure it would have been all day but we had been up since 4am as we went on the day we traveled to Cornwall and wanted to check in to our accommodation).
Spring Fields Fun Park Meet Greet and Feed the animals
Bags of food are available for sale at the entrance (50p per bag)- each one marked with the corresponding letter for which animals can eat it (goats, ducks and fish). We were advised that some of the fish had flooded over to the boating lake and that we could catch a good view of them if we fed them under the bridge in a boat. We have honestly never seen anything like it – there were just so many fish. It was a beautiful sight with their mouths open wide catching the food. I also really liked the way the goats were fed – you could tip their food into the tractor feeder, then turn the wheel and it would deliver it down towards them and tip it out. The children also enjoyed seeing the duck race, having bunny cuddles, a pony ride (paddock rides are £2 and lake rides £4) and just generally animals around the farm park (including alpacas and chickens. There was also pony grooming but things happened at certain times and the boys were too engrossed in what they were doing.

My family and I were invited to a Smartphone Photography Press Trip to Seaview Holiday Resort. This included some free and some discounted attractions. All words and opinions are honest and my own. No financial compensation has been given.
What a fabulous place for a day out. The indoor play barn sounds amazing as do all the outdoor activities. My girls would love watching the fish being fed 🙂 #countrykids
Oh this looks great fun! We need to get down to Cornwall sometime and this is just the sort of place my girls would love, so I’ll bear it in mind when we go. Perfect if you visit in winter too.

The 7 day rate if you camp there is a really good value, isn’t it? Mich x
Look at that Go-Kart – oh, my girl would love to get herself on that!
Cornwall is just beautiful with the right weather and there are some great places to find, like Spring Fields. And I like that there are inside and outside activities to enjoy, as you never know when the Cornish weather is about to turn!

We used to love Springfields when the children were younger. It is a great local attraction from here though I must say it has gone up a lot in price. I sent a couple of families there this week with little ones looking for a fun day out. I’m glad to read they still do the pony rides, this was the main feature last time I visited and my kids always wanted a go. It sounds like there is even more there now which is good as there are so many attractions in the area they have to keep things updated to keep the customers choosing their venue. I’m glad you had a good time in Cornwall, sorry not to have seen you this time but thank you for sharing with me on #CountryKids.
