The Hilton Puckrup Hall Tewkesbury
This amazing venue is well known for its golf and weddings but I was not aware that you could just visit. I was invited along to the launch of the newly refurbished Coopers Restaurant and Bar for afternoon tea.
Set on the edge of the Cotswolds Hilton Puckrup Hall is a stunning location set on 140 acres of private land. Featuring Schmoo Skincare Spa, an indoor pool and the LivingWell Health club. Coopers Restaurant and Bar overlooks the golf course with plenty of options to sit inside on a comfortable sofa or out on the terrace watching the sun set over the golf course. Offering traditional English and International cuisine from around the World.
The LivingWell Health Club
We went for a swim before afternoon tea in the LivingWell Health Club. We parked easily and were kindly guided as to where reception was. Here we found a very friendly employee who gave us our towels and explained to us about the lockers (a £1 refundable deposit). The pool was a lovely temperature and a good depth for swimming. There was also a learner pool, a Jacuzzi (which the boys absolutely loved), a sauna and a steam room (which the boys were delighted to be able to try with an adult). It was great to know that locally you can just pay (£10 an adult) to visit and use the facilities. The changing rooms also had hairdryers provided (both in the male and females thankfully), as well as a spin dryer and bags for costumes.
Coopers Restaurant and Bar
The newly refurbished Coopers Restaurant and Bar was wonderful – so light, airy and clean. Afternoon tea was delicious and there was a lovely variety of drinks. It was a great way to catch up with the Glosbloggers (and some of the teaching staff from our sons’ old school) over afternoon tea. The children also were allowed on to the Golf Course to learn how to play (apparently there are children as young as 9 in the club). The evening ended with a raffle and we were delighted that one of our friends won. It was a wonderful afternoon and we will definitely be visiting again soon.
We were invited to the launch of the refurbished Coopers Restaurant and Bar at Hilton Puckrup Hall. All opinions are honest and my own.
Ohh this looks fabulous! The restaurant is gorgeous and £10 is so cheap to use the facilities, we should go for our next spa trip!

Those scones look tasty. I love the idea of a spin dryer in the changing rooms, no more dripping swimming bags and that is such a great price for those lovely looking facilities too.
What a beautiful job they’ve done! It’s great that the boys were allowed to use the facilities there before your afternoon tea, a swimming pool alone is a huge draw, let alone the Jacuzzi, sauna and everything else. My lot love going along to play golf with us now and again, did it hit it big with the boys?
This looks lovely. An afternoon tea is one of my favourite things to do so add in a spa and i’d be there in a flash! #countrykids
That afternoon tea looks so good. I must go and have a look here as £10 is such a bargain to use spa facilities – although I would definitely find it much more relaxing without my kids!!
