I used courgettes and carrots but am sure you could do it with many other vegetables – or salad/fruit items such as cucumbers and bananas. Maybe even baby sweet corn – although it might be a bit more fiddly.

I’m then going to put mine into a lasagne but guess they would be nice just on the plate. I don’t know what else you could have been thinking about.

Aah that is very sweet but how do you find the time!! I seem to do a lot of frozen peas in the week as don’t have any time!

Thanks I shall give the fruit a try. The courgettes lost their shapes a bit too when I cooked them.
