We love the white knuckle rides. My teenagers just love the rides (its the only time brother and sister get along)
I love all of the activities that are going on in May. Plus it is great that kids can eat free!
Nice weather which really makes a difference. Not too hot, not too cold! Also, I’m presuming it’s not as busy as in the summer
That kids eat free in May… two hungry young ones . And lots of fun things for them to see and do
Trying to pluck up the courage to ride on Stealth. It looks terrifying!
Would love to go in the summertime and check out all the rollercoasters!!
Allowing the kids to eat free is pretty cool.
This means that we can all enjoy the rides, and not have to worry about how we are going to feed everyone.
Should stop any ‘hangry’ arguments!
Thorpe Park is quite local and has loads of fun rides May is a nice time to go as the park should not be to busy and the weather should be not to hot or cold so perfect for the kids
The best thing about Thorpe Park in May is the weather *hopefully* being a little bit warmer so we can enjoy the water rides even more! It’s also good to enjoy lighter evenings, and more time spent outdoors with the family is always a bonus.
I’d love to take my grandsons on the ghost train I’ve always loved that has a child creepy in a good way and the roller coaster rides would be brilliant
Definitely kids eat free would be a great perk to visiting Thorpe Park in May!
I would love this be great to take the family there
This would make a fantastic day for all the family with lots and lots of great memories
Going in May means it won’t be too hot nor busy as it is not full swing holiday period!
Theme park restaurants and cafes can be overly expensive so the best thing about going in May is that kids eat free which means you can use the money saved on other treats.
it would be an amazing fun filled day out together
would love to take my nephews ive never been
The kids would love this as a great day out
It shouldn’t have the same crowds as in the summer so hopefully would fit mare rides in
It’s not as busy as in the summer holidays and they have a great choice of rides for adults as well as kids
that the weather is nice – not too hot or cold! which always makes a themepark a nicer experience 🙂
We haven’t been in ages, would love to have another trip here
Its not as busy as the school holidays and not as hot.
i love a family trip out, bet not many people go in May as it is not that warm yet, so probably best thing about going in May is smaller ques, or am i being to optimistic!!
I love going to Thorpe Park in May as it’s much less crowded and you can get on all the rides!
Free childs meal with a paying afult seems really good value. It means the kids can eat and we dont need to take a load of food which doesnt get eaten.
Would love to be to go in May before the school holidays so hopefully get on more rides as less busy
May is before the school holidays start, so if you are able to go then, it won’t be so crowded, but hopefully you still get some decent weather.
It will be great to be there in the sunshine *fingers crossed* and go on the water rides and dry off quickly!
The que time is not too long!
This would make a fantastic day for all the family.
I think there would be less people so you wouldn’t have to queue as long
Visiting the park in May is always a good idea as it’s before the weather gets too hot and the place is crowded with kids and families during the summer holidays. The queues are a lot smaller so you get to go on a lot more rides.
Sounds great value if kids eat for free in May, plus the queues shouldn’t be as long – bonus! And I really REALLY want to go on Darren Browns Ghost Train eeeek <3
The new ghost train looks brilliant and the weather is usually nicer in May.
the weather should be good and slightly less people than summer holidays
It is less busy and less queues
It’s usually quieter in May, and I really want to go on SAW, and my daughter is now tall enough to go on all the rides! Whoop! x
It would be so much fun and I have never been there
We’ve never been so would be lovely to go. As the kids eat free in May , this would be even better
The weather is good in may, neither too hot or cold and I thinnnthe queue lines are a lot shorter – but I love Thorpe Park anytime if year
Would be lovely opportunity – thank you for the chance 🙂
less que’s and not so hot weather xx

I think it is great that kids can eat free plus the rollercoasters look great
I would love to go on the ghost train.
The best thing would be the adrenaline rushing thrill rides.
being able to go on all the water rides and you can dry off in the sun
Can’t wait to try the new ghost train!
The best thing about Thorpe park in May is the longer sunny days mean you dry off quicker on the water rides !
It is a fantastic day out and going in May would beat some of those crowds so you don’t need to queue up and can get on even more rides – it’s also my husbands 40th so what better excuse than to act like a big kid (with the little kids)!!!
we all love Thorpe Park especially the Stealth. usually take a packed lunch but kids eating free looks an interesting option
It’s my birthday in May too! So, going to Thorpe Park would mean a fun day out for all the family (and being able to scare my son a bit cause he’s not a great fan of rides, haha).
One of the few theme parks ive not had a chance to visit yet. The ghost ride looks fantastic!
Can’t wait to get a load of the new ghost train!
It is quieter in May than in the summer, would love to go on the new ghost train
This would be our first theme park with our new daughter, would be great to see her exploring the sights and sounds!
Would love to go in the summer and check out all the rollercoasters
I would love to visit angry birds area and ride on the Derren Brown ghost train!
I want to try the Derren Brown one!
the kids eat free is one that reALLY APPEALS TO ME I THINK
the best thing is that it is likely to be sunny and not as busy than june , july august
Stealth looks amazing but also really scary. After being pregnant I look forward to a bit of excitement on some rides!
kids eat free sounds good to me! saves carrying lots of food. If the weather stays good we would love to try some of the water rides!
I would love this be great to take the family there
Hopefully less ques and ok weather I tend to always go at the beginning or end of season
Thorpe Park in may is never grey
the sun shines bright
and the children play.
They ride the ghost train
by Derren Brown
and not a single one
wears a frown
and with a merlin annual pass
all year round they’ll have a blast!
The ghost train as it’s a new experience
Kids eat free for annual pass holders. Shame I’m not an annual pass holder though 🙁
I like that kids eat free and that I can bring friends at a discount with an annual pass
Less busy means you get to go on more rides.
It’s open every day in May, so you can pop down after school for example 🙂
I’ve converted my family into coaster lovers – they’re hooked!
we’ve always gone in May as a family as we have five birthdays! and there’s a little something for everyone. We’ve always been really lucky in that it hasn’t been overly busy and the weathers been good so always a winner 🙂
I would love this prize for my family
there is so many rides so anyone going has something different to chose from depending on what you like
Timber Tug Boat –
It’s quieter than in high season, which means more rides!

I love that it’s quieter so that there aren’t so many queues
Kids eating free is fabulous
Kids eating free is a really good reason, things like that tend to sway me for days out
I can’t wait to go on SAW and my sun cannot wait for Tidal Wave. Would love to go for a family outing
The days are lighter for longer in May, weather warmer & not as busy
I love that it’s quieter meaning you can get on lots more rides making it a better day out!!
I’d love to take the whole family for a real treat
