Active Playtime

scavengerhunt

Our favourite ways are on our 14ft trampoline, bikes and trips to the park (where sometimes we have people encourage us outdoors by bringing equipment).

You can make a trip to the park more exciting by going on a “treasure hunt” (see my post)

These are easy ways to slip activity daily into the routine.

Indoors we love to play hide and seek, or just playing in a box, or for a treat Bowling.

Or more occasional ideas – like doing something for the community – like our litter pick (see post)

  1. Some lovely garden toys there to keep the children active. Our trampoline in the garden is in daily use all year round. Perfect for a 5 minute bounce before tea time! Building camps and running down hills is another good one for us so linking up an old country Kids post doing just this.

  3. Some good ideas here. Been a while since we did a litter pick – must get round to doing that soon. Our local park is happy to loan the stuff to do it.
