Teenage Mutant Ninja Turtles Deluxe Movie Figures
Do you remember the Turtles the first time round? Here in the UK we weren’t allowed to call them Ninjas they had to be Heroes. Well not this time! This time we get to have scary Ninjas! The new film Teenage Mutant Ninja Turtles is available in cinemas everywhere from October 17th. Directed by Jonathan Liebesman, a group of mutated warriors face off against an evil kingpin who wants to take over New York. Featuring Whoopi Goldberg, Megan Fox (April O’Neil), Alan Ritchson (Raphael), Noel Fisher (MichelAngelo), Pete Ploszek (Leonardo), Johnny Knoxville (Leonardo’s voice), and Jeremy Howard (Donatello). Paramount have already announced a sequel to be released in 2016. On UK release the film is a 12A. The Teenage Mutant Ninja Turtles Deluxe Movie Figures reflect this by being the scariest and most highly detailed ever, with multiple points of articulation.
Teenage Mutant Ninja Turtles Deluxe Movie Figure Raphael Review
We received Combat Warrior Raphael to review. His face definitely means business with his piercing green eyes and snarling teeth. Wearing his signature colour red mask and his twin sais in his hands. These three-pronged blades are pointy and sharp – making them a good match for the evil Shredder! The detail in his skin shows that his arms and legs are rather muscular – and not someone you’d want to get in a fight with! He is 30cm high and has “serious slashing sai action.” Squeeze his legs together and his arms and head moves in a fighting action. His legs are in 2 sections so you can move them about. His arms have joints at the shoulders, elbows, and wrists, each part being able to be spun all the way around. His head can spin all the way around too!
They are very robust and have lots of playability. I think they will appeal to children to play with, but also adults to display on their shelves. Recommended for ages 4+ RRP £24.99
Also available is Combat Warrior Leonardo (with his quick cut Katanas), Combat Warrior Michelangelo (with his triple terror twist nunchuck), and Combat Warrior Donatello (with his smack-down spinning staff).
I received a free Teenage Mutant Ninja Turtles Deluxe Movie Figure for purposes of review, All words and opinions are my own.
Excellent , review
I’m so glad they’ve finally made this into a film.
ooooh, they look great.
My son LOVES these!
I can’t be the only one wondering why they’re still called ‘teenage’? They must be middle-aged by now!
Gosh I remember them from the first time around!
Whoa so big!
You know what my surname is right? Often when telling younger people how to spell it, I usually refer to the turtle rather than the artist and then they know how it’s done! 😀
i spotted a man hole cover yesterday and someone had sprayed “ninja turtles live here”, today i showed it to ronnie and said to him to shout down and see if they could hear him. he did. “cowabunga dudes”
Oh yes I remember them and whenever I see them I sing to myself ‘hereos in a half shell, turtle power!’ – because I’m sad like that! Mich x
These look great fun
