Sun £9.50 Holidays are Back – But things have Changed!

The Sun £9.50 Holidays are back but things have changed! It has got very confusing and feel free to comment below anything you know – and obviously I will edit it this as things become clearer. From what I can gather there are now four ways to collect tokens: Earliest access to The Sun £9.50 Holidays is to become a Sunsaver. This will give you a 48 hour advantage over other bookers when you enter your priority code on Saturday 15th July 2017 (non-priority is Sunday 16th 2017 and the main site Monday 17th July 2017). You can add the codes daily into the site until you have collected the 9 that you need. You get £5 for every 28 Sunsaver codes you enter. Plus if you collect enough Sun Savers codes to bank at least £5 in the Sun Savers wallet then you can put this towards the cost of the holiday. You have to buy the newspaper and scan the codes in (either online or via the app). Note codes expire after 5 weeks. This is the ONLY way to get priority booking. If you do not want to buy the Sun Newspaper then you will have to collect 10 tokens and wait until the main Sun £9.50 Holidays site opens (on the Monday 17th July 2017). You will just need to add the code words I will add below (as and when they are available).sun £9.50 holidays code words

And of course the fourth option is to print out a booking form and do it by post.

You need to pick four parks on four dates:

I actually believe that people do not want to buy the paper and what it will mean is that there will be less priority bookers giving everyone a better chance of getting the park/date that they want if they get on it early on Sunday night (if it leaked/cracked) or Monday morning.

  1. I guess because this means people will need to actually buy the paper to get priority – I bet no-one is buying it these days when you can get the codes online

  2. I buy the papers. I cant scan codes. I sent by registered post the tokens. Postal order. 8 different dates. Four suggested places.
I sent them the day I got ten consecutive coupons/tokens. Not heard anything. Replies are usually quicker than ten days.
How can I check on this?

  3. What a pain booking our Sun newspaper holiday has been this year. So complicated. Firstly it took Dee nearly two hours to book the holiday online, then we managed to get our chosen holiday at Littlesea Holiday park Weymouth, then today we rang Littlesea holiday park after Haven had confirmed our booking to do the final booking only to be told we couldn’t have that holiday at Littlesea because we wished to take our dog Bruce, and no we couldn’t have a refund. We have been going on the Sun newspaper holidays to LIttlesea Weymouth for over 18 years and now they do this on us. It is the last time we will waste our time with the Sun holidays. Wished now we had done a private holiday booking it would have cost us only £25 more with no problem in taking Bruce.
