When it comes to buying everything for Back to School it is easy to overlook something or find that actually your children have had a growth spurt at the last-minute. If I am honest we are usually too busy enjoying ourselves to think about sorting everything out and then I realise that they go back next week! It is for this reason that I really appreciate being able to buy things online.
This also makes it easy to ask your child’s opinion, and let them make a decision without feeling rushed and stressed in a crowded shop. With my 2nd oldest son going into Year 8 this is all the more important as he is turning into a young man (and I don’t want the grief of getting it wrong!). I was really pleased to see that Cloggs have a great range of stylish shoes with brands such as Kickers, Geox, Dr Martens, Converse, Vans, Mi-Pac & more.
I feel it is worth spending extra money on some decent footwear now that my son is in bigger sizes (he’s currently a 5) as hopefully his feet are starting to slow down. He is walking in them a lot further than at primary school too and I want him to grow out of them rather than wearing them out. I was able to show my 12-year-old the range of shoes available and simply select the ones he wanted. He chose the Kickers Seasan Lace Shoe in Black.
Whilst being practical for school with scruff resistant leather, reinforced toe guards, it also has a soft lining and footbed cushion – making them comfortable to wear for long periods and with the good quality laces ensuring a secure fitting. They have a sporty look and one foot has green branding and the other foot red. It incorporates micro fresh technology to reduce odours and reflective panelling.
Cloggs sent the school shoes in secure, well protected packaging, with a quick delivery and returns note for any problems.
Until the 30th September 2015 you can claim £5 off a purchase (terms and conditions apply) with code: FIVEOFF.
I was sent a free pair of Kickers for purposes of review. All words and opinions are my own.
I love Kickers, really great quality shoes.
Kickers have always been one of my favourite brands! I always head to the shops abroad where they have a great choice of them to check out what styles they have! My favourite has had to be the shiny metallic pink kickers my daughter had as a toddler!
I have to admit I used to use Kickers a lot myself at school, good to see they are still going strong. x
These look like good, sturdy shoes that would withstand football in the playground!!
With shoes you do get what you pay for – Kickers are a great brand and last well.
We have got Kickers for Maxi this year. I love how they have come on and have bumpers etc
School shoes have to be so hardwearing! These look like the can take a fair bit of play.
Oh these look brilliant and perfect for school, lovely review. POD has some scuff resistant shoes she’ll no doubt be testing to the max although I’m sure she’ll be in trainers a lot too. Can’t believe she starts school a week on Tuesday, I feel a little bit sick about that although I’m sure she’ll be alright :-0
I used to really really want Kickers when I was little, so they always remind me of that! Cloggs are great for prize aren’t they! x
I had a pair of Kickers as a kid and i loved them. Your son is going to look very trendy!
I love kickers for the teens as they really last
Not tried Kickers shoes before – I’ll have to look out for them in the shops.
They look smart and comfortable – ideal for school as they spend so many hours wearing them.
I’d love to get my son some Kickers for school but it’s all I can do to get him to wear black trainers – just wait till he goes to senior school lol
i have to agree that kickers are one of the brands that i have found worth while in buying and clogs seem a great place to buy them from
We haven’t bought any Kickers since the kids were tiddly, but they did last well
I love those, we’ve really struggled this year to find shoes my son liked! I don’t know when he got so fussy!
